Two weeks from today I will be in a radio broadcast, I rise to discuss health measures to be interviewed. Many listeners are on the trail, and this is not the reason for the interview. I ask because I am a grandmother and model healthy behavior for my grandchildren. For example, 10,000 steps a day and follow it with a pedometer.

Sunday evening, I prepare a healthy meal for my grandchildren. I am aware of my efforts. In fact, when they saw a TV commercial for afatty product called "Grandma would never buy that!" take sanitary measures, and define a list of them in preparation for the interview. Will you come with me on the path of surrender in shape?

Before you walk each day and the goal of 10,000 steps.

Second trace your steps with a pedometer and write the daily ration for a calendar.

Third find a way to take further steps to add your day, like walking instead of waiting for the coffee.

Take the stairs instead of the fourthElevator.

Fifth Park your car in the rear lot line and "walk" in stores.

Stretch sixth to remain flexible.

Seventh business day for fresh produce.

Read all 8 food labels at the fine print.

Ninth Buy low-fat milk or fat-free and cheese.

10 freezer stocks of healthy foods: chicken breast skinless, talapia, bags of vegetables, calcium-fortified orange juice, frozen, etc.

11 Cook with olive oil. (I use extra light).

12Make your vinegar and oil dressing.

13 Add additional vegetables like carrots, Meat Loaf, and spaghetti sauce.

14 Increase consumption of vegetables by one third.

15 Reducing meat consumption by a third.

16 Eating fresh fruit for dessert.

Monitor your food servings 17th. (Part of how much food you choose to eat. A party is a certain amount of nutrition information is based).

18th Getting enough calcium: yogurtmilk fat or fat free cottage cheese, broccoli and other vegetables.

19th instead of salt, mixed with high-fat, cook meals from scratch.

20 Learning to swap recipe: fat-free milk for whole egg substitute for eggs, applesauce for shortening, salt, herbs, whole wheat flour for white, Splenda instead of sugar or sugar free.

21st Drinking water instead of lemonade.

22nd find other ways to re instead of food.

23 If you go to aRestaurant eating half your meal and take the rest home.

24 stop eating when you feel full. (This requires some practice.)

Pat yourself on 25 health and welfare of the measuring.

It's never too late to make changes in health. Grandparents are more important than ever, and your older children can model healthy behaviors. You will be taught and you'll feel better. This is what I call a win-win.
