Welcome To The Reality Of The Top Five

So you are still sitting on the fence in regards to GMO's. You understand the concept, you realize the advantages it could bring to the agricultural community but there is just this nagging doubt that something seems to be going wrong somewhere. You have decided to avoid them.

The use of these top five permeates the foods we eat and the products we touch every single day of our life. It is almost impossible to avoid many of these genetically modified organisms.

Everything just seemed so simple to you. I won't eat corn, can't stand soybeans and heck, sugar isn't good for me anyway. Then it's too bad, but I guess I have to give up cereal for breakfast and I like olive oil anyway. See not a problem.

But now welcome to the reality of your new life!

Corn and its Uses
adhesives on envelopes, tape, stamps etc. are all made from corn baking powder dryer sheets for your laundry coffee - instant and regular ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise any word with corn in it (corn chips, cornbread, corn flour etc.) many of the cosmetics and toiletries we purchase and use everyday processed meats from the deli counter plus hot dogs and sausage products ethanol - gasoline for your car, lawn mower, weed whacker hair products - shampoos and conditioners, gels and mousse medications and prescription drugs use corn as a filler or coatings high fructose corn syrup any vitamin supplement with vitamin E or vitamin E itself

Actually this is just a short list of corn-based products we use daily. There is actually over 100 different items we use all the time in our lives which are derived from GMO corn.

So as you can see, avoiding GMO's is not just some short list of giving up cereal, corn and soy burgers. Do not let yourself be fooled into believing you can effectively avoid contact with this ever-growing altered organism in your daily life.
